Balls and Ballgames

The most exciting thing I ever did when I was young was playing ball games with my friends in the village and school. It was really interesting and memorable. We would kick the ball hard when it was time for football and when it was time for volleyball I would punch the ball with vigor. I remember well we used to rough up the ball and eventually damage it but mom would never get tired of supplying more balls. Occasionally we would play football with dad and mom in the team when they were not at work.

Playing ball games made me active and strong. It was rare to find me lying in bed because of fever. My body was simply strong and healthy .My childhood memories underscore the importance of ball games for children and why you just can’t afford to let your children miss ball games.

Ball games are fun and they develop team building and social skills. Besides they are the easiest kinds of play for children of all ages. The following are some of the ballgames children enjoy playing: Football- In this game the children will a form a team of 11 players each side and they will have a referee, it can be a teacher or a parent or even one of them. They will kick the ball and try scoring the opponents. Monkey in the middle-It’s played by 3 children.2 stand about 10 feet apart and in between stands the monkey. The two children begin outside begin a throwing and catching game while the monkey in the middle tries to intercept the ball. In this game there is no loser or winner.

Potsy, ten ball and spud are other ball games children enjoy playing. In case you need to buy balls for your children you are spoilt for choices because the market has a lot offer with incredibly varying prices. Balls are worth your money and ball games are worth your children.
